MY FIRST BOOK
Journeys Beyond and Within...
IS HERE!
In my vivid narrative style (that readers love, ahem), I have told my most incredible adventures, including a nine-month solo trip to South America. In the candid book, the scoldings I got from home for not settling down and the fears and obstacles I faced, along with my career experiments, are laid bare. Witty and introspective, the memoir will make you laugh and inspire you to travel, rediscover home, and leap over the boundaries.
Sikkim Express: "Simple, free-flowing, but immensely evocative."
The Telegraph Online: "An introspective as well as an adventurous read."

Hi Priyanka,
I have been reading your book for about last 10 days (about half an hour a day, don’t laugh or cringe, sitting on my toilet seat, during my morning abultions, that is my way of reading books) and it may get completed in another 3-4 days.
I found it fun to read, not missing any lines. As I have been a Mumbaikar for 40 years, I like your observations about Mumbai, especially about its May heat, sweating, smells, rain puddles, etc. etc. The lines about the crispy samosas and bread pakodas in glass shelves and mynahs poking on them was real as I have seen it sometimes. When I left Mumbai forever in 2023, mynahs were rare in Mumbai, but so many years back, they used to disturb us with their continous chirping, during our Sunday late morning sleep. That also was a fun.
Your observation about small things and finding fun and enjoyment in them is really good to be happy at all the times. I want to write more, but let me stop on the fear that it may bore you and your other readers.
Wish you all the best for your travels & writing. I will write again once I compete for book.
Regards,
Krishnakumar
Hi Krishna ji, thank you for your beautiful comment. I am glad you are enjoying the book. I did cringe a bit but then was smiling quickly too. So many of us enjoy our books on the toilet, and I am relieved that my book has joined that category too. I’d love to hear from you. And would be fantastic to receive Amazon and Goodreads reviews from you. A new book needs all the reviews and praise that comes its way 🙂
